Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups canned chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice for tang Optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat chickpeas dry with a clean towel. The drier, the crispier.
  3. In a bowl, toss chickpeas with olive oil and spices until evenly coated.
  4. Spread chickpeas on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Roast for 25–35 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until golden and crunchy.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes to enhance crispiness.
  7. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Notes

Let chickpeas cool fully for max crunch.
Adjust cayenne to control heat.
Store in an airtight jar for up to 5 days — best eaten fresh!
